Making Bells In Animal Crossing Wild World
Running short on bells? Here are some quick money-making tips to help you start raking in the moolah.
Dig It Up
Fossils are some of the most valuable items you can dig up, but you must get them appraised before you sell them. Gyroids, on the other hand, can be sold right away for big bells.
Fish It Out
If you have got lots of patience and a steady hand, fishing can be a good way to make big-time money – rare catches like strong-fish or coelacanth can earn you up to 15,000 bells apiece!
Shake It Out
Gathering fruit is one of the easiest ways to earn cash. Tom Nook will give you 100 bells for each piece of fruit you bring him from the trees native to your town, and 500 bells for fruit you have harvested after planting a foreign fruit. Trees can hold a lot more than just fruit, though – sometimes a good tree-shaking can net you a bag of bells or even a piece of furniture.
Use a Net
Instead of donating that rare bug you caught to some musty old museum, why not sell it to Tom Nook for some cold, hard bells? His store will pay handsomely for rare bugs (and a decent price for the common type, too).
Smack a Rock
If you smack a rock with your shovel, it might kick out a bag of money. If it does, keep hitting it like crazy until it runs dry. Smacking rocks is a great way to earn cash.
Shoot It Down
If you see a balloon with a gift tied to it floating in the sky, you are not going nuts – it is just your lucky day. Shoot the balloon with your sling shot and cash in your present (usually a rare item) at Nook’s Cranny for a hefty sum of beautiful bells.
Who Sells Seashells?
Another easy way to earn bells is to sell seashells from down by the seashore. A few hours after you have picked up the shells, more will wash up on the shore, so check back later. Many of the shells look the same, but they go by different names and sell for wildly different prices, so pay close attention.
Foreign Fruit Fandango
Tom Nook is a foreign fruit freak. He will pay big money for different fruit from another town, so if you go on a trip to another land, be sure to bring some back. Instead of cashing the fruit in right away, though, plant some and start your own exotic-fruit orchard – you will soon be rolling in bells.
The Turnip Trade
Turnip trading (buying turnips and reselling for a profit) is a tough racket – you have got to know when to hold them and know when to sell them before they rot. You can also try planting red turnips and growing them yourself. The bigger they get; the more Tom Nook will pay for them.
Dumpster Diving
Another neighbour’s rubbish can be your treasure! Check out the recycling bin at City Hall for discarded items you can resell to Tom Nook. Another place where you can occasionally find free stuff is the lost and found at the main gate.
